Exactly. Couldn't me getting treatment for cancer be god's decision? I know when, where, why I get the treatment. Me moving could be god's decision. Me getting a haircut could be his decision. If these are all his decisions, then me getting an abortion could be his decision.

yes but you are doing for hopes of saving your life your not doing it to kill yourself. anything that would be risky but benefit the fetus would be considered gods decision. having an abortion is taking someones life on purpose. treating yourself for cancer and having an abortion are two subject that contradict each other

My point is this: Why, when the child is wanted but lost in a miscarriage do we call it a child, a life, but when it is unwanted, it is simply a fetus that can be done away with?

I feel that people shouldn't have sex if they can't deal with the consequences, that by having sex you understand what you are getting into.  There are enough ways to prevent pregnancy that there is rarely an excuse for mistakes.  If you use BC and condoms together and correctly, you have so little chance of pregnancy.  Yet, so many young girls end up pregnant.  If it isn't the right time for you to have a baby, by all means abort, but you are the one who has to live with it.  I don't know a single person that has had an abortion and doesn't regret it.
